CytoSeek is a leading cell therapy technology company spun-out by Professor Adam Perriman at the University of Bristol. CytoSeek are exploiting a unique cell-membrane reengineering platform for the next generation of cell therapies. The company is completing a seed funding round with long-term investors that will enable positions to be initially offered for two years. The company will continue to work closely with Professor Perriman and his group, providing the opportunity to interact with his dynamic research team.
CytoSeek is seeking a talented and highly motivated research scientist to work as part of a multidisciplinary research team to help design, build and test its new technology for the enhancement of adoptive cell therapies.
The ideal candidate
An MSc/PhD in biochemistry, immunology, life sciences or biomedical sciences
Experience with mammalian cell culture
Knowledge and experience of protein expression and purification
Familiarity with a range of characterisation techniques (fluorescence microscopy, UV-Vis spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, flow cytometry)
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Ability to conduct experiments in a systematic and organised manner
The ability to follow standard operating protocols
Reliable, adaptable and hard-working team member
Understand the balance between deadlines and quality of work
Attention to detail to ensure high levels of quality
